How To Add Sunburst Animation Effect in AE 2023:
- Create A New Composition (Cmd/Ctrl + N)
- Drag the playhead to the beginning of the Timeline
- Deselect All Layers (F2)
- Go to Effects & Presets Panel (Windows…Effects & Presets)
- Search for ‘Sunburst’
- Double-click to add or drag on to the Comp Window
- Go to ‘Effect Controls’ to customize (in the tutorial I changed Color & Gravity)

How To Change Animation Speed:**
- Select Shape Layer
- Go to ‘Effect Controls’
- Change ‘Rotation Speed’ to a higher number to speed up the animation
- Change ‘Rotation Speed’ to a lower number to slow down the animation
- Change ‘Rotation Speed’ to a negative number to reverse the direction of the animation
- Change ‘Rotation Speed’ to zero to stop the animation

How To Change Foreground & Background Colors:**
- Select Shape Layer
- Go to ‘Effect Controls’
- Locate ‘Foreground Color’
- Click on the swatch and pick a color or use Eyedropper Tool and select color
- Locate ‘Background’ and change to ‘With Background Color’
- Locate ‘Background Color’
- Click on swatch and pick color or use Eyedropper Tool and select color
