Keyboard Shortcuts:
Add To Render Queue: Cmd/Ctrl + M
Add To Adobe Media Encoder Queue: Opt/Alt + Cmd/Ctrl + M
Set Beginning of Work Area: B
Set End of Work Area: N

How To Render Work Area Only (Render Queue) in Adobe After Effects CC 2024:
- Create a new Composition
- Drag CTI and tap ‘B’ to set beginning of Work Area
- Drag CTI and tap ‘N’ to set end of Work Area
- Select Comp Window or Timeline Panel
- Go to File…Export…Add To Render Queue
- Go to ‘Render Settings’
- Click on ‘Best Settings’
- Go to ‘Time Sampling’ section
- Change ‘Timespan’ to ‘Work Area
- Change ‘Format’ to H.264 40 Mbps (or preferred Preset)
- Click on ‘Output To:’ and add title and set destination to Render
- Click on ‘Render’
How To Render Work Area Only (AME) in Adobe After Effects CC 2024:
- Create a new Composition
- Drag CTI and tap ‘B’ to set beginning of Work Area
- Drag CTI and tap ‘N’ to set end of Work Area
- Select Comp Window or Timeline Panel
- Go to File…Export…Add To Adobe Media Encoder Queue (AME)
- Go to ‘Preset Browser’
- Search for ‘YouTube 4K’ preset or similar
- Drag desired preset on Output
- Click on link for Format or Preset
- Go below Preview Window and look for ‘Source Range’
- Change to ‘Work Area’
- Click on ‘Output To:’ and add title and set destination to Render
- Click on green Play icon in the top right corner to ‘Start Queue’
