This tutorial will show you how to figure out the time duration or number of frames between two keyframes on the Timeline in Adobe After Effects CC 2022. This is useful if you are trying to keep the distance between sets of keyframes the same and you want to make sure they are the same distance apart.

This tutorial will show you how to figure out the time duration or number of frames between two keyframes on the Timeline in Adobe After Effects CC 2022. This is useful if you are trying to keep the distance between sets of keyframes the same and you want to make sure they are the same distance apart.
**

  • How much time between any 2 keyframes on the timeline?
  • How many frames are between any 2 keyframes on the timeline?

Info Panel:
Window…Info

**Keyboard Shortcut Use:
**Alt (or Option) + Click

**Software Used:
**Adobe After Effects CC 2022 (Click To Try or Buy)

How To Measure the Distance Between Two Keyframes:

  1. Open the Info Panel (right side of interface or go to Window…Info)
  2. Press the Option Key (Mac) or Alt Key (Win) and click on the first keyframe
  3. Press the Option Key (Mac) or Alt Key (Win) and click on the second keyframe
  4. Look in the Info Panel and it will show you the distance in timecode between the two keyframes and if you are working in Frames, then it will display the number of frames between each keyframe

Note: This tip will also work to measure the distance between Markers
