**Description:
**This tutorial will show you how to use the loopIn Expression in Adobe After Effects CC 2024 to loop or repeat an animation that stops as soon as the CTI reaches the last keyframe.
To Add Expressions:
Hold the Option/Alt Key and click on a layer property stopwatch
Adobe description of loopIn(“cycle”) :
Loops a segment of time that is measured from the first keyframe on the layer forward toward the Out point of the layer. The loop plays from the In point of the layer.

How To Add loopIn Expression to Position Property:
- Select Layer to Endlessly Loop Until the last keyframe
- Tap P to Reveal Position Property
- Click the Stopwatch next to Position Property
- Enter the loopIn() expression
- Select ‘Position’ property to select all keyframes
- Move keyframes so the last keyframe is where you want the animation to sop
- Tap Spacebar to Preview
- Animation will loop endlessly until the CTI reaches the last keyframe and then will stop
