How To Add & Animate Turbulent Displace:
- Create New Comp
- 1920 x 1080, 24 fps, 10 secs
- Add Footage (graphics, text, etc)
- Create A New Solid Layer (Cmd/Ctrl + Y)
- Go to Effects & Presets Panel
- Search for Turbulent Noise
- Drag it onto Solid Layer
- Go to Effect Controls Panel
- Twirl open Evolution Options
- Option + Click on Random Seed
- Enter time*4
- Tap Space
How To Add Displacement Map Effect:
- Create a New Adjustment Layer
- Go to Effects & Presets Panel
- Search for Displacement Map
- Go to Effect Controls Panel
- Click Drop-down menu and select ‘Solid Layer’
- Click Drop-down to the right and select ‘Effects & Masks
Finishing Touches:
- Change time* Expression on Turbulent Noise for different animation styles
- Adjust Opacity of Turbulent Noise to fine tune animation
- Change Displacement Map for distortion
- Drag Comp into another Composition to add background, etc
