How To Import One Photoshop Layer Into After Effects:
- Save Photoshop PSD File
- Open After Effects
- Go to File…Import…File
- Select Photoshop PSD Files
- Click ‘Open’
- Select ‘Footage’
- Tick the radio button ‘Choose Layer’
- Select Layer to import from drop-down menu
- Choose ‘Merge Layer Styles into Foogage’ or ‘Ignore Layer Styles’
- Select ‘Layer Size’ or ‘Document Size’ next to ‘Footage Dimensions’
- Click ‘OK’
- Go to Project Panel in After Effects
- Drag Photoshop Layer onto Comp Window
