How To Create Psychedelic Looping Backgrounds:

  1. Open Adobe After Effects
  2. Create New Composition
  3. Add Footage (Image, Graphics, Logos, Textures, Videos)
  4. Go to Effects & Presets Panel
  5. Search For Kaleida
  6. Drag CC Kaleida Effect on Footage Layer
  7. Change Size to 100
  8. Change Mirroring to ‘Starlish’
  9. Press Option or Alt and click on Stopwatch next to ‘Rotation’
  10. Enter expression time*25
  11. Press Spacebar to preview (cool animation)
  12. Go to Effects & Presets Panel
  13. Search for Fast Box Blur
  14. Drag effect on footage layer
  15. Change Blur Radius to 50
  16. Go to Effects & Presets Panel
  17. Search for 4-Color Gradient
  18. Drag effect on footage layer
  19. Change Blending Mode to Multiply or Soft Light (experiment)
  20. Customize to taste
  21. Press Spacebar to Preview
  22. Add Logos, Text, etc
  23. Have fun!
