How To Scan Amazon Packages:
- Take a piece of Amazon Packaging
- Place face down on the scanner bed
- Use a Scanner set to 300 DPI + Color + JPEG and save to Desktop
How To Prepare Scanned Texture in Photoshop:
- Open Texture in Photoshop
- Duplicate Background Layer (Cmd/Ctrl + J)
- Select Duplicate layer and go to Filter Menu
- Select ‘Convert for Smart Filters’
- Go back to Filter Menu
- Select ‘Camera Raw Filter’ to open in Camera Raw
- Click ‘B&W’ to convert to Black & White
- Increase Exposure
- Go to ‘Effects’ section
- Increase ‘Texture’ to 67
- Increase Clarity to 5
- Increase Dehaze to 8
- Increase Grain to 35
- Click ‘OK’ to return to Photoshop
- Duplicate Smart Object by right-clicking and select ‘New Smart Object via Copy’
- Double-click Camera Raw to return to Camera Raw Filter
- Click on ‘B&W’ to restore original color
- Click ‘OK’
How To Animate Amazon Texture in Photoshop:
- Go to Image Menu at the top
- Click on ‘Duplicate’
- Enter New Document Name
- Tick the box to ‘Merge Footage’
- Click ‘OK’ to create new Document
- Change Canvas Size by going to Image Menu…Canvas Size
- Change to 1920 x 1080
- Duplicate Layers 5 times for a total of 6 texture layers
- Free Transform each layer changing Position, Rotation and/or Scale
- Open Timeline by going to Window Menu…Timeline
- Click Hamburger Menu (3 horizontal lines) at the top-right of the Timeline
- Select ‘Make Frames from Layers’
- Select All Frames
- Change Delay to 0.15
- Tap Spacebar to Preview Animation
How To Export Texture Animation As Video File in Photoshop:
- Go to File Menu at the top
- Click on ‘Export’
- Select ‘Render Video’
- Choose ‘Adobe Media Encoder’
- H.264
- Click on ‘Export’
How To Extend Duration of Animation in After Effects:
- Right-Click on Texture Animation in Project Panel
- Select ‘Interpret Footage’
- Select ‘Main’
- Go to ‘Other Options’
- Enter (100) Loop Times
- Click ‘OK’
- Extend Texture Animation on Timeline for as long as needed
