  • A repeatable pre-recording checklist for on-location podcasting
  • The Auphonic-to-Dropbox-to-Audition post-production pipeline

The Podcaster’s Toolkit: Product of the Day

Sugru — $12 for a 3-pack, $22 for 6. Essentially moldable super glue that sticks to nearly any surface, mainly for fixing and mending, with plenty of creative hacks beyond that. Some Sugru uses via Lifehacker. Real-world use here: repairing and reinforcing Apple power cables before they split, and molding a hook to hang Sony MDR-7506 headphones on the side of a desk. The individual packets are about the size of a to-go mustard packet — handy to keep around the studio or in a travel bag.
