Steps and Tools Used to Get Started
Deciding to start:
- Secure a domain name via GoDaddy
- Check social handle availability with Namecheckr
Building the website:
- Point the domain at SiteGround (the web host used at the time)
- Install WordPress.org
- Download and install the Divi WordPress theme
- Set up Google Workspace to send/receive mail at mike@murphyconcierge.com
- Create a logo using Adobe Illustrator

- Color palettes: Adobe Color, Coolors
- Business cards: Adobe InDesign or Canva
- Digital business cards: Adobe After Effects, Keynote, ScreenFlow, or Camtasia

Enjoy the work and generate $5,000/month. At an introductory rate of $75/hour, that works out to roughly 66 jobs a month, or about 2.2 per day.
